Dear Guests, from 24th of March our restaurant will remain closed until further notice.
The original dry white wine, in color of amber, was made from the endemic MCVANE grape, hand-picked in the village of Ozio (Kakheti), which is famous for the variety of this grapevine. The wine matured for 7 months in traditional Georgian qwewri (clay amphoras) in Marani Elizbar 1918. A unique wine not subjected to final filtration, created under fully organic conditions. The aroma includes caramel and ripe apricots. Finish: a hint of bitter orange.
“This wine was made out of respect for tradition and our ancestors” – Davit Turkestanishvili

The 15-year-old, and hand-tended vineyard from Ozhio, not sprayed with pesticides, gave us an exceptional quality harvest of our favorite MTSVANE variety in 2022. Fermentation and 8-month aging in clay qvevri created a unique wine with the aroma of autumn and dried yellow fruits. The hidden note of vanilla and EARL-GREY evokes a storm of powerful emotions, as well as memories of flowery fields, hay, crispy crust of bread with butter… Every step, from the moment of planting the grapevine to filling your glasses with aromatic liquid, was taken with extraordinary care and love to bring you the essence of the unique culture.
Harvested by hand in a 30-year-old vineyard in Kisiskhevi, the endemic RKATSITELI grapes represent the Kakheti wine classic. The grapes were fermented and matured for 9 months in clay qvevri. For the next 3, they were placed in special 75-liter glass carafes, during which sediment present was removed. An unfiltered wine, with the color of autumn straw and a distinct honey aroma with notes of butter, sultanas and apricots. It brings back memories of wild nature, a flower field… It is slightly lighter than other traditional Kakheti grapes. Perfect with cold appetizers, cheeses, and hearty meat dishes. It evokes good humor and encourages toasting.

We found this unique variety in the Kakheti region, in the village of Archilos Kalo. The unique climate of this region is distinguished by its spa-like character and high sun exposure, which favors the cultivation of the best grapes. The wine has an incredible natural pink color and aromas of ripe garden strawberries, wild strawberries, red grapefruit, vanilla, nutmeg, and a bitter, spicy note. Enjoy this wine while watching the sun and savoring the beauty of our nature…
